Hidden LED reading lights, a power point and USB ports add to the long list of credentials. Oh, did we forget the strip of LEDs that runs along the base. To avoid delivery day disappointments, measure the area you plan to place your new furniture in, as well as the furniture you have selected to purchase, before placing your order. Also measure any doorways (height and width) through which the furniture must pass to get to its final position in your home. Identify any delivery obstacles – is there enough ceiling clearance? Will the furniture clear the stairway or elevator? Can the piece be maneuvered around any right angles? 

Delivery

Typically the local Christchurch fee is $60.00. We also freight throughout New Zealand. For these costs you will receive a quote from our relevant freight company. All orders outside of Christchurch will have freight added once orders are received by The Best Furniture Shop. Please wait for confirmation email with added freight costs.

If you order a custom product, or product from incoming stock, our sales team will call to arrange a delivery time with you once your order is available.

Warranty /Refund

Warranty information regarding your The Best Furniture Shop purchase. Upholstery and timber We warranty our timber and upholstered products to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. Any fabric care is the responsibility of our customer. Appropriate fabric care labels are attached to the product. Colour variation, Fabrics and finishes Some natural variations occurring in wood, leather or other materials are inherent to their character, and cannot be avoided. Therefore they are not considered defects.

The Best Furniture Shop does not warrant the colour fastness or matching of colours, grains or textures of such materials. I Exclusions The above warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear which is to be expected over the course of ownership. They do not cover damage caused by abuse, accident, misuse, soiling, negligence, tempering and acts of God or terrorism.

In no event shall The Best Furniture Shop be responsible for the consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal properties, whether directly or indirectly. Warranties are for home usage only. The Best Furniture Shop does not warranty commercial, office, contract or other non-residential usage.

Warranties are only valid to the original purchaser and do not cover any transportation costs. Do not use alcohol or spirit based cleaning products as these will deteriorate the surface. Nail polish will wreck your table. Any cleaning products should be silicon free. Do not leave your timber products in direct sunlight for extended periods. This can cause splitting or warping of timber, cracking of polish or discolouration. Coasters etc my leave a ‘shadow’ if left in one position for lengthy periods. Avoid placing your products in the direct path of air-conditioners or too close to any heating device. A little commonsense and maintenance will ensure you have many years of trouble free service from the product you have chosen.
