Each Heirloom piece is carefully hand-crafted by our expert tailors in New Zealand. We source carefully, using the highest-quality modacrylic fibres from around the globe. As beautiful and indulgent as the real thing, the quality and handmade nature of these pieces recreate the weight and warmth of genuine fur.
Each Plush Pod is made-to-order with triple stitching for strength. Pods are filled with recycled polystyrene beans as standard but are also available unfilled.

Composition Outer - Modacrylic Fibre Faux Fur Lining, Polyester Suede.
Fill Polystyrene Beads.
Faux fur triple stitched for strength.
Care Instructions:
Faux fur should be carefully cared for to minimise matting of the pile. Gentle, cold hand-washing is recommended, alternatively machine wash separately on a delicate cycle. Line drying in the breeze helps to restore the pile. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, and do not bleach. Do not use any heat process as this will singe the pile and cause matting. As standard dry-cleaning processes use heat (that causes matting of the pile), ensure that drycleaners use mild settings to maintain the silky finish. Comb gently using a pet comb or brush. Keep dark or tinted colours away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discolouration.
